Benny Cenac Jr. is proud to announce the efforts of his team have resulted in being selected as a 2022 LWCC Safest 70 Award Winner. Established in 2008, the award honors LWCC policyholders who exemplify the company’s commitment to workplace safety.
Cenac is proud to once again be recognized for fostering a culture of well being in Louisiana’s workforce by establishing safe working environments. The award acknowledges Cenac’s leadership in providing its employees with a safe workplace which has always been at the top of Mr. Cenac’s priority list. “Safety is of utmost importance to us. In order for me to continue the legacy my grandfather started, keeping our employees safe is at the forefront of our day to day operations. Receiving these awards is a reminder that our entire team feels the same,” said Arlen “Benny” Cenac, Jr.
Recognized companies seek ways to proactively improve workplace safety and are also quick to react and respond when potential safety hazards are identified, often in partnership with LWCC’s Safety Services team. In 2020 Cenac was featured in Louisiana Loyal for its team’s quick response to a safety hazard on the river. Actions like these are what their core values are all about.
“LWCC is Louisiana Loyal, leading a movement to celebrate and elevate Louisiana,” said Kristin W. Wall, LWCC’s president and CEO. “Our Safest 70 Awards provide an excellent opportunity to put a spotlight on policyholders who are actively committed to creating a safer workplace for all. In addition to benefitting their own employees and stakeholders, these companies’ efforts serve to inspire other policyholders, businesses, and industries in Louisiana and beyond.”
