Many people may wonder how we are continuing to grow during the current economic times we all find ourselves in. An article featured in the Houma Times last week touches on how we have positioned Cenac and it’s services in the right direction in order to sustain success.
For Cenac and our customers, preparation plays a large role in our success. Strategizing and developing plans in order to get through downturns in the oil and gas related industry has proven to be beneficial.
We currently employ 400 team members, and with the continuing development of new ships we have had the opportunity to develop the youngest fleet in maritime towing. We’ve also expanded our operations to target additional markets in the industry. Mr. Cenac is quoted in the article as saying, “We now serve the entire Intracoastal Canal and related river systems. This regional footprint protects us from any localized downturn in the economy.”
All of these strategies, a great team and hard work ethic are a few ways we continue to produce results for Cenac and it’s broad customer base.
