This Christmas Season was made extra special for many of us at Cenac. We were honored to be able to participate in and sponsor the Houma Downtown Christmas Festival and Parade. Being a part of this area since the 1920s, tradition is important to us, as well as, continuing to be active members in the community that has given us so much.
In July, Cenac partnered with organizers of the Christmas celebration in order to assist with the expansion of the festival and parade. Information on the plans that were made in conjunction with the partnership can be further read about at the Houma Times. Some of those included updates to the courthouse square and a new Christmas tree.
We were happy to have Cenac employees, family and friends ride in the parade spreading Christmas cheer for all to hear. Look at the excitement on those little faces. They had a blast. We hope to continue to be a part of such a wonderful local tradition for years to come. Lets keep Houma Christmas alive.
