28 Feb ASSIST NEEDED – Baton Rouge Gauge Expected to Reach 35′ March 3

Posted at 22:00h in News

With the Baton Rouge Gauge expected to reach 35’ Friday, the WAP will require VTCC watchstanders at CG VTS LMR in New Orleans (staffed and scheduled by GICA).

We need experienced shallow draft captains to stand the VTCC watch starting on Saturday, March 3 at 0600. The one position watches will run 0600-1800 and 1800-0600 daily at the VTS, Sector New Orleans facility in Algiers. Watchstanders will assist with queues for Port Allen and help to deconflict congested areas.

Attached is a BLANK schedule for the period Mar 3-11.  Please fill out any slots you can with name, company, cell # and email address. OR – just let me know by phone or email when you or your captains can help out. Please call with any questions, and thanks in advance for the help. Note that crest in BTR is predicted for 21 March, so we’ll need additional help that following week as well. This plan will get us started. Regards,
